Nicolla s a 25-year-old lady from Diepkloof, Soweto. After completing her matric, she continued to pursue and obtain her N1 to N5 in Electrical Engineering. She describes herself as someone who is persistent with good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. Nicolla became aware of Artisan Training Institute (ATI) while she was scrolling through one of the Facebook groups. She chose ATI because of its good reputation. She has also observed that artisans who qualified at ATI are highly skilled and well-prepared for the workplace. Nicolla is interested in doing the Electrical trade because she has always been eager to learn how electricity works. “The electricity field is exciting and challenging because it keeps evolving with new technology,” she said. Nicolla believes she is worthy of the funding because her skills and qualifications will make her a valuable asset to any organisation. Nicole says she is unique because she’s a driven, ambitious, and persistent person who does not believe in throwing in the towel despite the challenges that come her way. In the next five years, Nicolla sees herself as a qualified and employed artisan. She aims to keep developing and evolving in her field.
